成立宗旨

    随着资讯科技的发展,企业很容易就可以取得大量的资料,因此现代是一个资料爆炸的时代。然而,过多的资料若没有进行良好的资料辨识与分析处理,仍然无法提供企业有用的资讯与知识,因此现代企业面临淹没于资料,渴望于知识的问题。所幸随着电脑计算能力呈指数增长,使得高速的计算成为可能,而人工智能技术与统计方法等技术的跨领域融合与整合,使得资料辨识与分析方法更为完善,进而让从大量的资料中萃取有用的知识成为可能。资料辨识与分析实验室成立之宗旨为,针对不同领域的各类资料,利用资料辨识与分析技术进行资料特征模式的辨识与分析,进而萃取出有用的资讯与知识以提昇企业在知识经济环境中的竞争力。
